The small town of Galatro is located at the confluence of the Metramo and Fermano rivers, surrounded by the mountains of Calabria.
The project idea of ​​the bridge over the Metramo is to create a sign, an accent of steel in the green of the mountains that embrace the town.
Over time, the bridge has become a resting place, as well as a crossing point, and contributes to creating a new identity for the urban area in which it is located, enhancing the area in the eyes of tourists and citizens.
The structure is made entirely of steel, only the supporting shoulders are made of reinforced concrete. The deck consists of a central driveway and two projecting pedestrian wings.
